Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights, originally from Newark, NJ were organized in 1946 as the Blessed Sacrament Cadets. The corps assumed the nickname "Golden Knights" and entered field competition in 1952. The Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights hold 9 National titles, 19 NJ State titles, 11 National Dream titles, and the first World Open title.
In 1991 the Golden Knights re-organized again as an alumni corps for parades and exhibitions and has continued its tradition of excellence with a membership of over 100 and is now celebrating their 19th year together.
The mission of is to promote friendship and camaraderie through good old-fashioned drum and bugle corps while establishing a new tradition of the corps excellence.
We welcome and encourage you to stop in at one of our rehearsals, or see us perform in a parade or concert exhibition.
